There are two options for creating tasks on incidents. Clicking on Create and Link Task to Incident creates a task quickly with description copied from the incident. In most cases, staff edits the task so created for description and other details, as necessary. Clicking on Create New Task opens a task form and allows the staff to enter details. Task template may be selected on the form.
I'm aware of this, my issue is that task created by templates we created are blank and I wanted to know if there is a way for system to copy description in ticket into tasks similar to how Create and Link Task to Incident works. I attached screenshot of one of our templates to discussion.

I assume you have the SRD linked to an incident template which is linked to a task template?
If you instead link the task templates to the SRD, you can then map answers from the questions into the fields on the task directly. Would that work?
