here is a real example to show how it works.
This is a KVM VM imported by Capacity Agent ETL
So you can put your attention to NAME or _COMPATIBILITY_ field. In this case, maybe it is simple to use NAME. You can use in this case multiple lookup and this is a CSV example
You need to fill DS_SYSNM with
this is telling to lookup algorith to use vl-bpa01-rh56x64-kvm12 and NAME lookup field. Then you need to put NAME as STRONGLOOKUP field.
Also, please remember to SHARE lookup from CSV ETL to KVM or VMware ETL.
Please also note that it is a good practice to also fill SYSTYPENM column in order to specify systyem type. gm:kvm for a KVM VM, gm:vmw for VMware
Hope this helps.
Did you get this to work. I've been scratching my head trying to do the same thing. Hopefully you can help me.
When you say above "Also, please remember to SHARE lookup from CSV ETL to KVM or VMware ETL" what exactly do you mean. I am struggling to understand how to relate the csv entity with the vCenter entity.
