Hi Marek Ceizel, you can attach files by following these steps:
Step 1: From the header menu, click create > uploaded file
Step 2: Drag & Drop the file, add description and the place where you would like the file to be uploaded.
Step 3: Hit Publish.
Hope that helps!
thank you Shadab. Directly in front of my eyes
Anyway this is not so convenient. Such a Attachment is handled as separate thread additionally as a Document.
I need something like attachment to actual ongoing discussion .....
Sorry I don't understand. I wrote the method which you mentioned is not convenient. To create a separate Document (which is actually an Attachments) is quite strange. Also this is not 'adding attachment to discussion'.
I solved the problem with Rahul so that I uploaded the file on my webserver and provided a link (honestly this is crazy stupid).
So what did I got ?
There are two ways of uploading a file:
1. On the same document, find the 'attach' option on the bottom right. For reference, I displayed the option for you to attach a file to this very discussion in the previous comment. Note that the maximum size of such file should not exceed 100 MB.
2. If the file exceeds 100 MB, go on create>uploaded file. This would be a maximum file size of 200 MB.
Does that help?
I have to apologize....
I didn't noticed the yellow part of your screenshot and I never noticed the bottom right option in the communities. Clearly problem with my eyes!
Of course this helped. EXTRA!
Thanks a lot and sorry for taking your time.
No problem. Glad it helped!
