I assume you mean masking security-sensitive information in the display of the search results in the ITDA UI. Assuming I'm right, the answer is no. This is something that we are looking into for a future release, however.
If you do not want to collect information that includes security sensitive data, you can exclude patterns Using the advanced options in your data collector.
Please let me know if that does not answer your question.
Thanks Scott. This answers my query.
Are there any tentative timelines for this feature to be implemented in ITDA ?
Also, does BMC have any feature comparison document for ITDA vs Splunk ?
Masking security-sensitive data is a feature on our backlog and therefore will be considered for inclusion in each future release. I cannot confirm/guarantee which future release it will appear in, however. I recommend that you create an Idea for this here on the communities. This will allow everyone else to vote for it. The more votes it gets the more weight it will carry in our considering it for inclusion in a future release.
