    High Service Levels Case Study needed.

      I have a customer that is primarily interested in minimizing outage/maintenance windows on critical DMBS systems. Today without automation customer has difficulty patching Solaris, Linux and Oracle 11 platform because they don't want to take any downtime to perform restarts. Each Database typically hosts 25+ applications. Solaris uses Veritas Cluster Server in active/passive mode but support team still finds routine admin tasks to be onerous.

       

      Do we have any customer reference points or case studies showing improved service levels when BSA and BDA is used to minimize downtime? Many of the docs focus on the related concept of time savings to manage patches and compliance, but don't address uptime.
