      BMC Remedy 9.1 Service Pack 2 is now available
      BMC Software announces the release of Service Pack 2 for the following Remedy products:

      BMC Remedy IT Service Management 9.1.02 highlights
      Version 9.1.02 includes significant improvements to the upgrade experience and delivers improvements in product quality, performance, tuning, and security.

      • The BMC Remedy AR System Server is now configured out of the box with production-ready defaults so administrators no longer have to make extensive configuration changes for production usage. And the BMC Configuration Check utility automatically validates component configuration during upgrade against the production-ready defaults.
      • During upgrade, AR System server processes are automatically started and stopped, eliminating manual pre-upgrade steps.
      • Upgrade processing time is significantly improved
        • Definition file (.def) imports improved 30 percent
        • Full Text Search (FTS) indexing improved 50 percent
        • Hierarchical group processing improved 50 percent
      • Improvements to the BMC Remedy IT Service Management data access model and support group assignment simplifies management of ticket access for companies.
      • A new BMC Data Compliance for Remedy integration with the Microsoft Office 365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution enables management of data policy breaches as a Remedy ticket.
      • New Change Automation workflows between Remedy and BladeLogic accelerate data center changes and deployments.
