this is the install:
Run the following command, where
bljavais the location of the Java executable for BMC Server Automation. This step is required for the BMC Server Automation implementation of jython.
(Default location for Microsoft Windows) C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BladeLogic\NSH\jre\bin\java.exe
(Default location for UNIX) /opt/bmc/BladeLogic/NSH/br/java/bin/java
(Command syntax for Windows)
<bljava> -jar jython_installer-2.5.1.jar -s -d "C:\Program Files\Jython" -t minimum -i mod
Right, but how can I run the install using BSA's bljava if the install doc of the app server says to install Jython BEFORE the app server? That's what I don't understand.
"If you plan to use the bljython utility, install the Jython utility before installing the Application Server." ???
Oh – yeah, that’s wrong.
What page says that ?
Links are in the op. So what's the correct install order then? BSA first, then Jython?
Also, it says to use a specific version, is this for compatibility reasons or could I use the latest?
ok - fixed that, should show up in a couple days.
Thanks! So you confirm I can install the app server first and then follow the jython install procedure?
