BSA 8.9 - New app server build - Confusion about bljython installation

    Yanick Girouard

The doc about the BSA install steps indicate that you should install jython before you install the app server if you want to use bljython.

"If you plan to use the bljython utility, install the Jython utility before installing the Application Server." (Requirements for installing individual components on Microsoft Windows - BMC Server Automation 8.9 - BMC Documentation)

However, the doc about installing and configuring bljython doesn't say that:

      1. Go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/jython/files/.
      2. Expand the jython folder and select the latest stable version. In this document, the 2.5.1 version is used as an example.
      3. Navigate into the 2.5.1 folder near the bottom of the page and then click the jython_installer-2.5.1.jar file to download it.
      4. If you want a reference for their Jython installation instructions, go to the following location: http://wiki.python.org/jython/InstallationInstructions
      5. Open a command prompt as a local admin and navigate to the directory that contains jython_installer_2.5.1
      6. Run the following command, where bljava is the location of the Java executable for BMC Server Automation. This step is required for the BMC Server Automation implementation of jython.

... (Installing and configuring Jython - BMC Server Automation 8.9 - BMC Documentation)

It says to download it, but not to install it. Am I missing something?
