    BMC MyIT comments not appearing in SmartIT console

      I raised a Service Request (either from myIT or Remedy) and added a comment, but the comment didn't appear in SmartIT REQ or INC Activity panel.

       

      Based on BMC, the adding of comments from MyIT to SmartIT is done via the “SHR:SHRCAI_SocialBridge” form. I went to the form to check and found out the TICKETCOMMENT :

      Return Code = Error

      Return Message = "error": "sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target"

       

      Did a online search on "unable to find valid certification path to requested target". Seems like it's related to the Java cacerts. I have already added all the CER certs (Mid-Tier User, Mid-Tier Integration, AR User, AR Integration, Smart Reporting) into the cacerts in MyIT/SmartIT server. Did the same to the cacerts on the other Mid Tier and AR servers too. But issue still persist.

      Restarting the MyITSocialService service doesn't help too.
