Also Microsoft has mentioned "Each month’s rollup will supersede the previous month’s rollup, so there will always be only one update required for your Windows PCs to get current. i.e. a Monthly Rollup in October 2016 will include all updates for October, while November 2016 will include October and November updates, and so on."
The only concern I have is on the size of this single roll-up. I would assume the size of one single bundle will be much larger than individual patches and the catalog size will be increasing month by month needing a lot of space in the repository. If the size is more of the bundle then downloading will take long time and might impact network also.

That I think, we have to wait and see, for exact info. However, please read few of the comments on the thread:
these are all very good questions for microsoft. things like the amount of space required, download time, etc are all things that bsa has no control over.
