could you please let me know the usage of Switch User concept while Windows proxy credential creation? I need to create a credential for any targets of Linux enviornment?

If i use root as the user, is that enough?

Switch user is for running the su command. It is targeted at Unix like environments. For example sshd can be set up so root cannot ssh onto a machine. This allows Discovery to log on as a different user and use su to change user (by default to root).

It has no meaning for Windows discovery.

If you log on as root you would not normally use switch user.
