How can I download and list RPMs in patch catalog via command line on target server

    Colin Hilchey

I would like to list and also download available RPMs from the patch catalog via command line on the target Linux server, i.e. on the server where the patches/RPMs will be installed.

Is there a way to download directly from the patch catalog using, for example, a  `wget` command using the BladeLogic server's port?

What user and access privileges would be required for such an action?

Or, is it possible to use the BladeLogic catalog as a yum repository directly, so that a simple 'yum update' command will download and apply the required patches from the catalog?

Alternatively, if this is not possible, is it possible to download the RPMs via the Desktop BladeLogic Server Automation Console?
