This is very dependant upon the OS being discovered
thanks Andrew for quick response.
This is actually for Windows servers, Unix Servers (Solaris, RHEL)
is it possible to get CPU utilization for mentioned OS through Discovery ?

why do you want to discover the CPU utilization? Discovery is not a monitoring tool and you would get only a single value when discovering the server. What do you intend to do with this (not very meaningful) value?
In our organization we are working on multiple migration projects. For every project discovery is the first phase for discovering Infrastructure. For this we are evaluating various discovery tools, In some other discovery tool we are getting resource like RAM, CPU utilization details as well. So for checking the same capability in BMC Discovery, I asked this question.

now I got you and I understand why you're asking for CPU usage. I assume that the other products use agents to discover the hosts. Therefore they can provide you the CPU usage and other performance metrics over time. BMC Discovery works agentless. This means it can't provide you these kind of information. But with BMC Discovery you don't need to maintain agents on the hosts, which means less administrative overhead.
