I haven't been able to find reference to how these settings will allow the snapshot or audit to determine that a given location is a mounted FileSystem instead of a directory though?
So if /dev/lv01 is mounted on /somemountpoint I want to snapshot that it is, then if the server is reboot after a change for example, I want to audit the system against the snapshot to make sure that /dev/lv01 is still actually mounted over /somemountpoint. Not just that the directory /somemountpoint still exists after the reboot.
If you want to see if something is mounted or not i think you will need an extended object that runs the ‘mount’ command.
