    snapshot and audit mounted filesystems?

Is it possible to snapshot locally mounted UNIX filesystems, then audit a server for any changes to the mount points, such as them not existing anymore? I tried selecting Filesystem as a server object type but I get a java error if I try to snapshot it. If I select the objects under the Filesystem in a server live browse and snapshot them, then it only recognises them as directories and not filesystems.

If I choose to umount a filesystem as a test and audit or snapshot the system again it still reports it exists because the directory that the mount point would mount over still exists.
