Rhel7 support for patching was added in bsa 8.6 so you would need to upgrade bsa.

for example in 8.5:
solaris 10 is supported natively, solaris 11 is supported via a scripted method.
Sles 11 is supported, sles 12 is targeted to 8.8
That actually answered my question, just need to find out how to do Solaris 11.
It would be a nice feature, if new OS versions could be added to patch catalogs without updating the whole console, like just installing a fix etc., but it is what it is.
It’s not always that simple. Sles 12 and rhel7 required significant changes to support because the underlying download and analysis mechanisms were changed. adding service packs or updates in the same major version doesn’t require any product changes typically.
