I was trying to simulate but no luck. Can you explain again step by step what are you doing when its going busy?
Step by step, I do :
Click on one of the submited request link.
Double click on a request.
When I had the detail, click on the close button.
On the SRM console, click the "Brows Catalog" link
And I never have the catalog. The busy icone stay on the screen and no more.

Yes if I refreshed the page it's ok, but it's not a good solution to the user to refresh the page all the time if they want to submit a new request.
The problem doesn't exist with IE11, but my customer is using Firefox :-(
I have the same problem with this 2 versions of midtier :
- Version 7.6.04 SP2 201110080614
- Version 8.1.SP02 Patch 001 201409121357 Hotfix
So what we found on Mozilla the processing stopped before triggering the Active Link SRS:SRC:DVFEventTrapAndProcess and everything that follows. Since it was intermittent for us we didn't pursue it further. Maybe if you do Active Link logging you can confirm this. Maybe BMC has something to offer on this, but it's unlikely they will spend much time on it.
It's exactly that.
I will check with a save of the activelink, and look if it's possible to put the sp5.
I do the test with a modification of the activelinks SRS:SRC:ServiceCategories_SkipToSearch and SRS:SRC:DVFEventTrapAndProcess there is no change.
I put the patch 5 and no more change ;-(

We have tested this use case on 7.6.03 SRM on Firefox 45 and its not reproducible in this version,
We have tested this use case on 7.6.04 SRM version on Firefox 45 and its reproducible
We were unable to find any similar issue reported to us before for 7.6.04 SRM
We have tested this with latest Hotfix release of SRM and latest Hotfix release Mid-tier however it was still unresolved
The issue is resolved with 7.6.04 SRM and 9.0 Mid tier however due to complexity involved this option could not be recommended
As 7.6.04 SRM version is under limited support and from 8x version entire SRM architecture is changed we would not be able to request for a Hotfix for this case.
Kindly let me know your thoughts on this.

Did BMC ever state beyond the above message what the "complexity" was using the 9.0 midtier with 7.6.04 with the latest SP?
