Advance repeater is not supported I believe if you have crossed 8.5 ,
If it just 100 servers over all then it would not be required if it is
scattered across geography.

Normal repeater will also not help here? We are at 8.6.1 version
If you have 100 servers across the world eg: 10 in India 20 in africa 30 in
rest of Asia 30 in south america 10 in Europe then what's the use ?
More over what is your server estate ? Is it windows major or UNIX as well
in remote locations ?
It al depends on all these factors

advanced repeater is still supported after 8.5. do you see somewhere that indicates it's not ?
not sure where you get: "if you have 100 servers across the world eg: 10 in India 20 in africa 30 in
rest of Asia 30 in south america 10 in Europe then what's the use ?"
from: "We have around 100 servers which are at remote location"
yes - if you have a number of servers in a single location and your deploy jobs push the same file to multiple servers in that location using a repeater will help. the file will be copied across the wan only once.
For deploy job which we use execute repetitively then i agree repeater will help. But do we see any value of repeater for patch remediation jobs?
A ‘patch remediation job’ is a deploy job. so yes.
