I'm using BSA 8.7.00.263 and I've created an online Red Hat Patch catalog to update only RHEL7 servers.
The catalog is being successfuly updated from the "rhel-7-server-rpms" channel and getting the packages from this repository.
Is it possible to include additional repositories to the catalog, so I can have the packages from these repositories to be available for install in my servers?
As an example I want to add the "rhel-7-server-extras-rpms" repository that is available in the RedHat subscription, as well as the "epel" repository that give us additional packages we are using in our servers.
Thank you for your help.
Right now 8.7 does not support the ‘child channels’ for rhel7. This should be coming in the next release.
For now you could create an offline catalog, use reposync to pull down everything you need directly and then run the offline downloader against the dir w/ all your rpms using the ‘createrepo’ option.
