Why are you using a unix-style path on a windows system ?
Also, normally if you upload the msi as the msi object you just use ??SOURCE?? args as the install command.
Is this a blpackage or a msi object that you’ve created ?
We have tried using this command also but it failed with error:-
msxml6-KB973686-enu-x86.exe ??SOURCE?? /quiet /norestart
Error Dec 7, 2015 9:43:02 AM There was a problem resolving the soft links in the package: An error occurred while attempting to copy the file //blfs/opt/webapps/bladelogic/storage/installables/2318955.1/msxml6_x64.msi to //Servername/var/tmp/stage/73c7522ece973d308aa5f9dae2194249/2318955.1/msxml6_x64.msi.: com.bladelogic.om.infra.mfw.util.BlException: No such file or directory;Cannot access source file "//blfs/opt/webapps/bladelogic/storage/installables/2318955.1/msxml6_x64.msi"
Sorry – msiexec /i ??SOURCE?? args
So /i has to be appended before ??SOURCE??
??SOURCE?? should be the msi file itself.
So to install a msi you typically need to do like:
Msiexec /i msifile args
