With BSA 8.6 our integration supports CMDB 8.0/8.1:
The error from the screenshot looks like it if from the Atrium Import Job Configuration area? This is after you try and save your updates?
Can you also review with the CMDB Admin and confirm the correct class/attributes are in place.
1. Yes, this Atrium Import Job Configuration area and i receive error after trying to save configuration.
2. No, the class BMC_BaseElement don't contain the specific attribute (CDMachineID).
So my question if i need to install BladeLogic Atrium Integration before configuring atrium import job?
According this document we don't need any installation:
Yes, for the AtriumImport Job there is nothing additional to be installed. Just the integration needs to be enabled per the steps in the docs section you included.
If "CDMachineID" does not exist another attribute name can be supplied, which will be approriate for your configuration. The defaults use default standards, but may not fit all configurations. Maybe CDMachineID was renamed in your class definition?
We're also having this exact same problem. We're using BSA 8.6 SP1 with CMDB 8.1.
'If "CDMachineID" does not exist another attribute name can be supplied'
Could you explain exactly how a different attribute is specified? I've tried a number of different formats like 'BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem.Name, BMC.CORE:BMC_BaseElement.Name, etc. They all returned the same error that BMC_BaseElement class has not been extended.
I assume this would go in the 'List of relationship instance names: *' of the 'Use Infrastructure CI Class Name(s) to traverse Infrastructure CIs' option of the 'Infrastructure CI Relationship Details' section of the Atrium Import Job Configuration, correct?
