from the winpe cmd window can you resolve the hostname of the server w/ the share ? have you googled what that error means for net use ?
It appears samba services are not running on datastore. Ensure smb service is running on your server.
samba is already running...
Appears was some problem with name resolution...but got in this problem now
Cannot open the required file K:\Windows\Win2012R2\Sources\install.wim..The permissions are given to blprov already to read & write to the pxestore & it is accessible from the browser
In that case, is your host SGAPSPLM* pinging from command line and check the DNS issue? may be you need to use FQDN which is pingable.
i tried to this command from target VM :-
net use k: \\192.168.163.4\pxestore ...it says user context supplied is invalid
Is that command prompted for username and password? if no, then pass username and password also using above command.
Ex: net use \\server\share /user:username password
what does 'accessible from a browser' mean ? if something is available from a web browser that will give no indication if something is available via a file share.
so run the same command you see running in bsa:
net use k:\\server\share /user:user password
does that work?
then can you cd into k:\Windows\Win2012R2\Sources ?
