BSA Next Release Design Partnership Program

    Neil Karani

BMC BSA team has started explorations for its next release planned for 1H CY 2016. As part of these release there are 2-3 projects which are really critical to get them right. BSA team wants to have customers who can sign up as Design Partner for these 2-3 key projects. The program will involve customers agreeing to Non- Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and also 1-2 hr active participation per month to  participate in early design meeting, provide early demo feedback, eventually try out early code drops, participate in IUR and beta and become a reference customer to the extent their company allows them. Benefit for customer is having direct access to BMC R&D to influence the outcome of key project, early access to code drops as well as opportunity to get their feedback incorporated.

In terms of program outline, BMC plans to start the kick-off calls starting the week of Nov 16th. All customers will collectively get to participate and help shape the project outcome. This initiative will also enable customers to learn from their fellow customers how they are managing server infrastructure and other initiatives.

The Key projects we are trying to get feedback around include:

      (1) Content Management - BSA Git Integration for NSH Script

      (2) Simplified Operations - Simplified Windows and RHEL Patching

      (3) BladeLogic Portal - SecOps

In order to sign up please send email to neil_karani@bmc.com indicating email contact of person(s) who wants to participate and suggestion around meeting time in the preferred time zone.
