Check out the Utility namespace options:
Utility - exportComplianceDetailsServerReport
Utility - exportComplianceDetailsServerReportWithServerName
Utility - exportComplianceRuleDetailsReport
Utility - exportComplianceRun
Utility - exportComplianceRunLatest
Utility - exportComplianceSummaryReport
Thank you for this quick reply.
Currently we are using BSA 8.5.01.301, but within Utility namespace, there is a exportComplianceRunLatest function that we can use perfectly.
Next question is if there is a SOAP / REST equivalent for this function? this would help us better implementing it.
Thanks in advance
Same command will work via soap.
Thanks for the confirmation,
Where does the exportFile be placed after the command has been executed successfully?
Is this on the appserver, or the server from where you raise the SOAP request ( which could be a terminal server or something like it).
I am raising the SOAP request from serverB towards BSAAppServer
As exportFileName I provide "C:/TEMP/sampleJobResult.csv" with exportType set to "CSV"
Is the file saved on BSAAppServer C:/TEMP/sampleJobResult.csv or on serverB C/TEMP/sampleJobResult.csv
If you use soap you should use the executeCommandUsingAttachmentsAndGetResponseFile method and the file should come back as a uuencode64 stream which you can decode and write to a file. look at https://communities.bmc.com/docs/DOC-26121 in the perl examples – there’s a similar example w/ the Utility exportDeployRun command.
