These are additional lines to the KERNEL and APPEND lines ?
This is what the user asked.... the items in bold we need to add. We know we can add the console= option, but the SERIAL and CONSOLE at the top is what this question is about.
From the documentation on Moonshot:
Add the following lines to /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default:
SERIAL 0 9600
append hd0 0
append initrd=rhel-6.5/initrd.img repo=http://192.168.1.1/os/rhel-6.5 console=ttyS0,9600n8
There’s no way to alter the content of the file other than the append line.
So what do we do for machines that have no graphics card and only serial lines of communication?
In particular, we are looking at the HP Moonshot.
This is happening all automated, so does it matter ? you just won’t be able to follow along… or does this actually prevent the pxeboot from going ?

I've asked our SYSENG folks if they have tested this out yet, and will report back their findings. I was a little confused myself the need for a "console" session.
