I think you should post on the bppm community as well… the integration is from bppm into bsa, not the other way around iirc.
You can use the BMC Atrium Orchestrator to integrate and do many things in a much managed way.
Before knowing the advantages, you should first think on why is this integration being done in the first place. Eg : Auto Capacity management.

The integration between BSA and BPPM means that you can publish the Monitoring Packages in BPPM to BSA for deployment to an target host.
These appear in the Depot in BSA for use in deployment jobs or BLPackages etc.
When you are creating and End-to-End solution, this is invaluable as it means that you can have a standard monitoring setup for your provisioned servers using BSA and then have them updated in the BPPM infrastructure.
