Make sure Application services are running on the server.
if yes, telnet <appserver> 9840
So you have a bsa appserver and you have it registered in bsa. if you can live browse it and push acls to it, that means the rscd agent on that box is working. that has nothing to do w/ the appserver processes.
you need to look in the NSH/br/appserver.log (or whatever log file name you are using) and see if there is some issue w/ the appserver starting on that system. if it appears to be started then check that your client can communicate w/ ports 9840 and 9841 (the defaults for authsvc and appsvc) on the box.
I browsed the appserver.log file and noticed that the very first line was
An error occurred while attempting to access the database:
shared memory realm does not exist
Is this line depicts some issue with database?
It looks like something isn’t configured correctly w/ the database on that appserver
I would run:
Blasadmin –a show database all
On the working and not working appserver and compare the results.
