    setting target dates - i'm totally lost

      I've never tried so hard to figure something out in my life!!!  I don't know why, but I just can't wrap my head around how to setup "target dates" (due date / expected completion date)!!


      • Does anyone have some sort of holistic overview of what all the parts are and how all the parts fit together?
      • So far, it appears that there's a general business rule in my service desk workspace that sets off a "activate service & resolution enforcement" call .... to the Service Portfolio workspace?
      • In the Service Portfolio, I'm confused as to the differences/roles of the Work Target and the Service Level Target. 
        • what triggers what?
        • Where do the calculations (from create date) take place?


      Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
