In variable RPMS you'll have the name(s) of RPM files, in case you're having a Linux catalog.
have you actually tried that? the catalog is a group, not a smart group.

Bill it's tested and works fine (5024 is SmartGroup, 7035 is Catalog-Group). I have another issue now, to get all PatchSmartGroups created for a specific Catalog.
Do you have a hint here?
