Hi Pasi,
I never tried this....it's interesting to see how BSA handles it, if it is at all.
Let me add some experts for their views on this use case..
Rashmi Agrawal and Bill Robinson - Can we use BSA to provision workstations?
Regards,
Abhishek

as far as what is supported for provisioning that's on the 'spac' site Product Availability and Compatibility - BMC
will it work? yeah - you should be able to provision windows 7/8 w/ bsa since we're just doing a unattended install. similar for a template clone but you might need to have the OS be 2008 or something.
but i don't know if you can do it through clm.

Hi Pasi,
There was a zip kit that worked with ITSM SRM and Citrix some time ago that basically utilized BAO Workflows to initiate the provisioning of desktops (CLM ZipKit - VDI Orchestration)
However a more structured approach would be have a MyIT 2.5 infrastructure to handle the non CLM requests like this, integrating with your corporate ITSM environment and then integrate CLM 4.5 with that to provide the seamless interface to the end user for both Cloud and Non-Cloud requests
