We just created a RHEL Offline Catalog and I'd like to create a smartgroup that just contain the kernels. Is there an easy way to identify a kernel? Can we use software_patch_status_flags or other server properties to create a smartgroup that just contain the Kernel?
I've read a few articles regarding RedHat OS Kernel Patches but I'm not finding anything that would allow me to easily identify a Kernel patch versus a standard application patch. Here's a BMC Communities article from 2012 but I think this is too old.
The rpm name field will always be ‘kernel’.
