insure that the user has "MyIT Admin" and "MyIT Super Admin" permission to login
Make sure you stop Virgo service and clear the work directory within Virgo

Issue is fixed because the error was due to MyIT roles which are not mapped with MyIT groups, so we need to map them first..

Where can I set them?
Just follow the steps:
- Go To ARSystem Administrator Console - Applications - Roles
- Search for MyIT Admin and MyIT Super Admin Roles
- Map them to the respective groups MyIT Admin and MyIT Super Admin for Test and Production.
Just wondering if this is a bug? Looks like all MyIT/SmartIT installations do not do this mapping.
I had MyIT/SmartIT 2.2 installed and working and never did this mapping. Now for some reason (no changes to the system) I get the "unexpected response from admin Console" error when logging into the admin console.
No mention of role mappings in the admin guide.
I also got the same error that's why I did the Role mapping, If you are facing same error then try above steps, and after this restart all the services and try to login in Admin console.Hope the problem gets resolve after this.
just for info. It still happens in a fresh install of Remedy 9.01.4. Roles are to be mapped to Groups in order to access DW Admin Console. I don't remember seeing the documentation updated with this required procedure.
