The TM ART 4.2 Citrix Tutorial is here:
Note this is not for SilkTest, this is for the TM ART Monitor Workbench.
Thanks for the link. Is there any drawback to using Silktest scripts for Citrix as opposed to WorkBench? I have a leaning towards using Silktest as I have found it easier. Should I be using WorkBench for this Citrix project?
You could use SilkTest. I have seen customers do that once or twice for Citrix apps. Keep in mind that lots of Citrix is graphics based and not text so OCR must be used sometimes. So you may need to use OCR with SilkTest to monitor a Citrix application.
Silk Performer (aka the TM ART Monitor Workbench) uses a well-defined scripting interface in the Citrix client application. It also has a dedicated Citrix recorder and TrueLog viewer.
In my (very limited) experience with TM ART and Citrix, the Monitor Workbench was much easier.
(as a side comment: I'm pretty sure I have never seen someone say that Silk Test was easier than Silk Performer! Congratulations on your mastery!)
Saying I find silktest easier isnt saying much, I have only used it on fairly straightforward applications. I assure you its far from mastery. I will give silkperformer on citrix a go and will let you guys know how I get on.
Thanks for all assistance.
