    Isolating RSCD traffic to a specified interface

    richard mcleod

      So I'm tinkering around with trying to isolate RSCD traffic to a specific interface, reading through the documentation it shows that this can be accomplished by using a host= entry in the secure file...

      I setup a the following line (we use a custom port)

      #rscd:port=12345:protocol=5:tls_mode=encryption_only:encryption=tls:

      host=servername1:port=12345:protocol=5:tls_mode=encryption_only:encryption=tls:

      default:port=12345:protocol=5:tls_mode=encryption_only:encryption=tls:

      I restarted the agent and then ran a netstat and found that the agent was running on 4750? Has anyone ever seen this?

      I tried commenting out the default line also, rscd still showed as running on 4750.

      What gives?
