Hi Michael. This ZipKit does add servers to the smart group but does not install the agent until and when needed. You can schedule a Unified Agent Installer job to run against this smart group on a scheduled basis to take the automation further or review the discovered servers and add as needed.
This ZipKit was developed internally at BMC and is fully supported.
Thanks Akbar. So for example, if we have a server in ADDM, but not in BSA...is that server added to the smartgroup as an agentless asset with this process, before we run any installer jobs against this smartgroup? I'm trying to determine when a server is added to the smartgroup, how the properties of that asset are set if it doesn't exist in BSA today. Are certain properties carried over from ADDM data? I can't find any documentation on this.

It should be added as an agentless asset. In terms of properties, it will not bring in any ADDM info. The properties will be bare-minimum until the agent gets installed and is able to successfully connect with the target.
