What version of bsa? that sounds familiar – have you checked the list of fixed defects in your version of bsa on the docs site ?
BSA version is 8.2 SP4.
The snapshot job has been using the older baseline for comparing the current and previous snapshots. It appears a new baseline is taken only when there is a change in the template or component that is being taken snapshot. Looks like it’s a bug with this product version. However, I have made a workaround to fix this issue, and FIM reports reflect correct data now.
yeah - but what should happen is like:
snap2-> baseline /diff/ current state = delta2
snap3-> baseline + delta2 /diff/ current state = delta3
and so on. so it should be always adding up the baseline and the deltas and then comparing to the current state. so if the date changed monday, you would see a delta on tues, but not on wed. that may be the defect ?
