    Fields taking NULL values in notify action

      Hi!

      I have a filter that triggers a notify action. The criteria is taken from the form on filter executes and works well. The name of recipients (Recipient ID field) is also taken as a variable from the form which works well. However, the subject and email body is utilizing some variables (lets say X, Y and Z) and the values of the variables comes out as NULL in the email subject and body. The permissions on the Recipient ID field and X,Y,Z fields is the same.

       

      Now, if i change the permission level and include Public in the list of groups which can view X,Y and Z, the values start showing just fine in the email. Can anyone suggest why this may be happening. This code was working just fine in 6.3 but are doing an upgrade to 8.1 and its not working without me including Public in the list of groups.
