We have a Windows 2012 environment running in the cloud. We are using Blade Logic Version: 8.5.00.416 to deploy msi's. All the msi's install without a hitch when run from a command prompt on the local machine running with my credentials. Some of the msi's create IIS web sites with virtual directories on other resources in the domain.
When I run the job to install these msi's it fails when it tries to connect to one of those resources. If I set the execution override to use the credentials I logged into Blade Logic with it fails too. Those credentials are for a different domain than where the install is going. Is it possible to use the credentials that i log into the the domain with? The override uses email@example.com and I would like to change it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
the 'execution override' lets a job run as a different role. if the other role is setup to use an AP that uses your domain credentials then that should accomplish what you want.
