that looks like your gui -> appserver network connection was reset. you could try running blcli from the appserver to delete the catalog.
could you please provide the blcli command for safely deleting the windows patch catalog.
I could not find any command specific to delete Windows Patch Catalog.
this will delete all the objects in the catalog, then you can delete the catalog manually from the gui. you should run this from the appserver, and i'm assuming that connection would not go through a load balancer or anything that could cut off the connection.
We have been suffering the same problem due to the load balancer we have.
