    how to validate patches downloaded from Vendor are not broken


      We often face with an issue that, patches in our repo when deployed to the target fails to install - reason being patch is corrupted.

      I believe it can be of two issues - 1. files getting corrupt on the repo server 2.Patches get corrupted while downloading from internet.


      Though the patch catalog update shows successful,some of the patches seem to be corrupt after downloading.

      for the second case, is there any automated method in BL to check the checksum of the downloaded patches with the the ones released by Vendor?


      Note: the repo is present in appserver, internet connection is via proxy server
