    Reading XML file content through AO process

      Hi All,

       

      How we can read XML file content(Stored as Attachement in AR System Email Messages/Attachments form).We have to read each value in the file and retrieve it.Is there any OOB process or adapter which can do this task?

          Hi,

           

          If you want read attachment presented in remedy Form ,need to use remedy actor adapter.

           

          I think there is no OOB process presented in AO for this.

           

          You need to create a custom process for this and then provide attachment field names in adapter request

            Hi Ravi,

             

            Using Remedy Actor Adapter you can use a OOB "AMP-AD-BMC-Remedy-ARS->7.5->Get Entries" Process.

             

             

            Using this process get the record containing attachment.

            As you can see in above screenshot, this process has a parameter to download attachments.

            It would download the attachment at the configured destination location in Remedy Actor Adapter configuration on Grid.

            After that Using File Adapter you can read the contents of it for your further activities.

              I tried with above approach. Now Get entry is retrieving the XML path. But it is not getting downlaoded to the path configured in Adapters config settings.
