I'm about a 70/30 split of desktop/mobile.  Mostly only use mobile when at home or at lunch.

I am barely using mobile these days.  It is just too limited.  I end up marking inbox items unread on my phone so I can later follow it from a computer.  I finally turned of the Jive notifications last week.

Funny story with the Jive notifications and why I left them on so long...  The timing of the notifications often was cause for humor for my family and close friends.  It became and inside joke.  Often when somebody would make a statement or answer a question there would be a Jive notification at that moment.  The sound I had chosen was a perfect "right answer" sound.  The Jive notifications provided many laughs.  Unfortunately that was one of the most useful (unintended) features.

Mhhhh, I'm in the UK Jive offices tomorrow, I'll let them know about your funny story and also the fact that Android app is a no-show.

Rarely on mobile. When I run errands, I'll check for any urgent email messages, but that's about it.

If I'm trapped in a conference with boring PPTs, I'll sometimes play a game...

Now if we are talking about outside of BMC Communities then yes my phone and iPad have completely replaced my desktop.  In fact the only time I sit down at my computer at home is to reboot the router or to plug my phone into it.  Otherwise I am using RDP from tablet to control the desktop upstairs (at this point my desktop is nothing more than a glorified (way over powered) media server, though media may be stretching it a bit as most of what gets streamed are either Disney movies and Star Wars in one form or fashion.

I believe the discussion was regarding Communities only...but Matt could clarify that if he cares to :)

oh, well if it was only communities - then never. I've never done communities on my mobile.

Initial intent was BMC Communites, but feedback is really important: there is a trend (not mainstream for sure) of users being highly productive even away from laptop.

Tonight, I'm on iPad. I'll start laptop later on because I need to make progress on a PPT. I'll then upload PPT on Communities (and also Google Drive) so that I can easily present from anywhere afterwards.

Anne, whatever device you use, you're very productive!

Btw, all of you in this very convo are great community members, and you use the platform in your own ways to make that happen :)
