Well the week of BMC Engage 2014 is over and I must say I thought it was a fantastic week. Given that BMC hasn't directly run a global user conference for some years I was pleasantly surprised by the great turnout from our customers and partners. Also the sheer variety of sessions on offer across the entire BMC product portfolio was awesome to see.
Meeting our customers and partners was fantastic, I find the best output from these types of events is always the connections and sharing of experiences between colleagues and customers, Engage was no exception!
It was also great to see the turn out for the session I presented alongside Darius Wallace for the CMDB on the Tuesday morning and the level of conversation and interest this stimulated throughout the following couple of days as people caught me in corridors or booked meetings to discuss their CMDB needs and desires with me - if you wanted to talk with me and didn't get chance then feel free to contact me and we can setup some time to talk.
Whilst talking with customers it seems apparent there is a great desire for you all to contribute to some of our future direction with the CMDB I am putting together some ideas around how we can best approach this, so keep an eye out on my blog for information as we assemble our thoughts and ideas that were borne out of the conference interactions.
Looking forward to Engage 2015 in Las Vegas at the Aria from September 8th to 11th... See you there!
