Nothing like listening to Master of Puppets while doing the drudge work of pulling CM screen shots for a SOX audit.

Great idea!  I think today will be classic Metallica day.  I watched this just last week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEL6_SuQCu8.  Brought back some memories (although I don't think I saw them until they were touring for the Black album).

I saw them on the Justice For All tour which although Cliff Burton-less was still an awesome show. I think the opener was Queensryche doing the entire Operation:Mindcrime album IIRC. Of course it was at the Sports Arena with the crappy acoustics but it was so loud that maybe didn't have an effect for once. I will have to watch that clip you posted later when I have a chance.

I saw them both separately at the Sports Arena a few years later.  Queensryche in Dec 1991 and Metallica in Jan 1992 when Live Sh*t: Binge & Purge was recorded.  Man, two shows in two months.  We barely get any shows in SD anymore.  Although I did see Megadeth/Slayer and Disturbed/Avenged Sevenfold a few months apart in 2010.

I am so bummed I missed Knotfest  in Oct.  We had some family thing going on so it worked out to be a bad weekend to leave for some headbanging.

The only concert I have done in the last 10 years is Iron Maiden up in Irvine two years ago. They have been my favorite band since high school but I had never seen them live before. I am amazed at the energy they still have on stage, helluva show.

I went with the Anthrax channel on Pandora yesterday so I'm getting some Metallica and Megadeth. In My Darkest Hour just came on, I forgot how good those first couple of Megadeth records are.
