Can you elaborate on the issue, please? In Remedyforce, we do not have what Salesforce calls Record Types. Console Layouts can be linked to profiles. You can restrict the categories and the templates that can be used for each layout.
Hi Nikhil ,
yes the layout can change according to the profile of the current user but the same user could work on object of different semantic types .
Let assume an object like Tasks .. In this moment a user with a certain profile/role must work on both "Task type 1 " and " Task type 2 " .
This user can see in console all the field related to both the types but would be nice to set up the layouts in order to expose in console only the fields relative to the task type currently open , maybe by using the record types.
There is someting to set up in order to have this behaviour ?
Remedyforce Layout types does support assigning after "enabling multiple layouts" to one user (via profiles). You can create multiple Console Layouts for "Task" which can have different fields per layout.
So depending on Task's Layout type the fields in Remedyforce Console Task form would render differently.
