I'm interested to know what you are making the switch. I don't know a whole lot about ServiceNow, but I do like hearing why folks pick one or the other between Remedy and ServiceNow.
If there is an interface to ServiceNow, whether Rest or Webservices or JDBC
you can take advantage of using the Pentaho ETL to extract, map, and import into Remedy.
Export into CSV files and then you would have to use the Data Import tool to get the data into Remedy
I would extract foundation data, Process data and Transaction data from SNOW and put it in UDM spreadsheets and import them.
once it is done, I will reconfigure all the integrations in remedy.
I'm looking to see what approach you followed, can you please share your details?
