1. Re: Tenant vs. Subtenant
Philipp Huonker Oct 18, 2019 5:18 AM (in response to Philipp Huonker)1 of 1 people found this helpfulHello,
I made a PoC to that.
The best way is to create one master tenant and add subtenants below.
Example:
We have a Company ABC with some units (IT, HR, Travel) below.
So Company ABC is Master Tenant (0000000001).
IT is 0000000001-2
HR is 0000000001-3
Travel is 0000000001-4
So we have 4 "several" DWP.
When a user is MyIT Admin and belongs to IT - he can change the dwp of IT.
The same for HR and Travel.
The URL does not change.
In my PoC I've also created some other tenants (no sub or master , just "normal").
With a user who belongs to this tenant, I was not able to login.
For now, I don't know, how its possible that this user can login and administer his dwp - maybe someone can clarify?
In background, I will search for that.
Best regards,
Philipp

We've implemented also Master Tenant & Sub tenants, but we noticed some features of DWPA doesn´t work with the subtenants, i don´t know if you have the same issue.
Cheers!

Hi Edgar,
> ..., but we noticed some features of DWPA doesn´t work with the subtenants
Let me assume, that there are no DWPA Service Offerings shown for end user if he belongs to subtenant?
In that case please ensure that settings for DWP-C like described in Enabling and configuring the enhanced catalog for BMC Digital Workplace - Documentation for BMC Digital Workplace Advanc… are the same for all the subtenants & master tenants you have.

Nick
