If you installed RSSO then you can enable the bypass URL as mentioned below;
<application_url> is the URL of the application that the user wants to access.
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately it didn't help. Just to make sure its clear what I'm trying to do... I want to be able to log onto Digital Workplace (aka MyIT) with a test account other than myself. This test account does exist in the list of users on my DWP Catalog server.
The instructions you sent describe configuring RSSO to allow authentication using an AR System server. We haven't yet connected RSSO to our Remedy servers - only DWP and DWPC are setup for RSSO. I went ahead and followed those instructions anyway. I first tried using our DWPC catalog server as the "AR Server" (the documentation frequently assumes that the DWPC server is the same as an AR System server (I know they are similar, yet different). That didn't work (the Test button always failed).
So then I went ahead and configured it to use our Remedy system server (even though it shouldn't be in play) and got the "Test" button to succeed. However, when I go to the suggested link:
it takes me straight to the DWP home page, logged in as myself. I didn't get any way to login as a different user.
RSSO and DWP/DWPC are still fairly new to me, so I appreciate the help and guidance in understanding how it all works.
I think you misunderstood Jijil.
With this URL it is possible to bypass your RSSO integration with automatic authentication. The RSSO login page opens, you enter your login data and will be redirected to your DWP.
The AR system does not play a role here.
So... I'm not getting a login page when using that URL. You're saying I should, right?
Also, I agree that the AR System shouldn't play a role here, but the instructions Jijil sent say it should, and configuring RSSO to use the AR System was the only way it let me come close to following the instructions (but still doesn't present a login page).
I'll take a closer look tomorrow, have already finished work and no system here yet.
Did you try the Ingognito mode in Chrome?
Otherwise you can disable RSSO in the DB:
Update [DWP].[DWP_System].[TENANT] SET SAML_AUTHENTICATION = 0
Restart your MyIT Application (Tomcat).
Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't tried incognito mode before. Trying it just now still took me straight in as myself without a chance to sign in as someone else.

Just for my understanding whether I got your question correctly or not, as per your query you need to view the login page for DWP so that you can login with a different account in DWP?
If so then the answer would be yes possible using the bypass URL which I mentioned in my previous thread, once the URL gets processed then the RSSO login page would appear and you have to enter the credentials which will open up the DWP page.
Hope the RSSO configuration are done properly, just a reference as below;
That is correct.
I thought I had RSSO configured correctly (it's been working create for SSO), but maybe not. I'll go ahead and put in a ticket with support.
