1. arjavaplugin.log - SBE is another BMC cloud product and if you are not using that, you can ignore the error related to SBE not configured.
2. Centralized Configuration Server from MidTier configuration page - this is optional - not a MUST for midtier to work. if you want to control midtier configurations from CCS generic UI of server rather than config page or config.properties file, you can use this feature. Look up docs.bmc.com for more details.
3. NotBoundException - if you do not plan to use flashboard service, this error can be ignored as well. this error happens when the ports are not matching correctly. look at the documentation for Server-Group-Flashboards-Admin-Port property in AR server configuration

Ankit Tiwari Jun 24, 2019 11:02 AM (in response to Ashutosh Deshpande)Hi Ashutosh,
Thank you for your inputs.
1. If SBE is not installed on server then why am I getting that error ? Can I comment out SBE plugin entry in ar.cfg ?
2. I will check out how I can configure CCS. Do we need to initialize CCS ? I haven't done any configuration on CCS console yet.
3. For Flashboard server error, is it ok if I comment out Flashboard server entry in armonitor.cfg ?
Regards,
Ankit

1 of 1 people found this helpful1. I haven't tried, but SBE plugin comes into picture when Smart IT dashboard and ticket console - hopefully commenting out should not create a problem. I can only suggest try and if you do not see error in Smart IT dashboard and ticket console, you are good.
2. CCS in midtier is not a MUST. You do not have do it, if you do not want. It's more of a convenience when there are multiple midtiers in your setup, but it's not a MUST.
3. Yes. you can comment out.

Ankit Tiwari Jun 24, 2019 11:12 PM (in response to Ashutosh Deshpande)Hi Ashutosh,
Can you tell what is SBE product used for ? Does its plugins get installed along with ITSM ? As in we haven't installed MyIT/SmartIT yet on our server but still we are getting this error.
For Flashboard server, I tried commenting out Flashboard server entry in armonitor.cfg file but I'm still getting same error in arerror.log file.

Ankit

SBE (MyIT Service Broker) is also called as Digital WorkPlace Catalog (DWP-C). Refer to System requirements - Documentation for BMC MyIT Service Broker 3.3 - BMC Documentation.
Yes, the plugin does get installed with ITSM. This plugin is used, if you configure Smart IT to be able to show tickets from SBE. Refer to Integrating Smart IT with BMC Digital Workplace Catalog service request - Documentation for Remedy with Smart IT 18.05 -… to understand more about how to make Smart IT - SBE integration work.

Ankit Tiwari Jun 24, 2019 11:19 PM (in response to Ashutosh Deshpande)So correct me if I'm wrong.. We have DWP/SmartIT installed on another server which we will be repointing to this new server built. Once DWP is pointed to this new server which is throwing SBE error then will issue will be resolved ?

DWP has 2 products in the suite DWP-Basic and DWP-Catalog. If you integrate the DWP-C using instructions from the doc I shared above, yes, you will not see the error after that.
