1. Re: How to export a report from one server to other including the Schedules

Exporting broadcasts or subscription is still not available in underlined Yellowfin product itself.
Either you can create manual broadcasts, or migrate the system.
Hope this helps.

If we don’t want to migrate entire system , is that any specific table in smart reporting repository database which can be just migrated for schedules ?

Abhay Bagalkoti Jun 20, 2019 3:22 AM (in response to Neha Patel)Hello Neha,
Not to my knowledge, and it wont be in a single table. Contents are spread across multiple tables with references.
In one of the forum Yellowfin doesn't prefer partial migration which may impact the system.
IMHO, it may take some time to re-create broadcasts but eventually you will have a stable system, until they come with some feature around this.

2 of 2 people found this helpfulHi Abhay Bagalkoti,
I have created the SQL script to count the tables rows before and after creating the broadcast schedule.
I came across the following tables which has more rows inserted in these tables.
DOCUMENTDATA
DOCUMENTITEM
DOCUMENTREVISION
EVENT
REPORTBROADCAST
REPORTBROADCASTRECIPIENT
REPORTINSTANCE
REPORTINSTANCEFILTER
TASKSCHEDULE
I am sure BMC is watching over this thread to find out, it would be better to export the report schedules to make it easier for reports export and import to different environment.

Mohammad
