why ? are you having some problem using it ?
I prefer to use the "agentinfo" command vs relying on Verify. Verify can succeed when things like incorrect user mapping will show up with agentinfo.

I successfully checked the port 4750 on some servers. Also, when I run the "agentinfo" command, I get a succesfull output.
But I get some of the following errors using the "verify" button on the same servers:
- Unknown Exception in CML Parser ('C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BladeLogic\RSCD\\daal\DAALRegistry.xml')
- unexpected exception in the agent communication layer
- Remote host closed connection during handshake
So, I would like to know what kind of things the "verify" button is doing in order to solve those issues.

the verify does the same thing as the usp job w/ all the options checked. it updates the agent status, intrinsic properties on the server object and it updates/checks the custom/server objects (unixusers, hardware info, etc). i don't think that's documented in any detail anywhere.
