What steps are you performing on the Login page?
The usual login process is:
1. Enter user name in the User Name field, default admin account is “Administrator”
2. Enter password in the password field, the default password for “Administrator” user is “welcome” for fresh/new install
3. The group field would be populated once the password is entered
4. Select appropriate group and login

We had the same issue. I ended up contacting support for the password. Interestingly, the installer was last updated several months ago (from when it was still in beta)
There is a screen near the end of the install that says what the default Administrator account is and what the default password is. That dialog requires you to check a box which says, "I understand this", before you can click Next to continue.
Do either of you recall seeing this dialog? Perhaps we need to do something to the installer to make this more obvious.

I remember seeing the password, and successfully used it to log in as the Administrator, where I immediately changed the Administrator's password. I didn't realize the password would continue to be needed for other accounts and discarded it.
Although I'm slightly confused as to what we are discussing now. Are we referring to the installation password for Track-It? I needed this to unpack and actually install Track-It.
I also received the the default password to use for logging in as the Administrator.
The original issue was that the group was not showing when signing in. After the third install, it is finally working correctly.
